Our underwriting process

Our underwriting process could not be more simple. We assess the deal and not the client. This means that even if your personal credit is poor, you could still use our bridging products without any problems.

Liquid has been set up to make bridging finance as fast and easy as possible. We understand the importance of getting hold of money quickly when you need it most. We adopt a business minded approach to lending and aim to give you a lending decision within 1 hour. In more complicated cases a decision is usually made within 24 hours. Our decision to lend is based purely on the risk involved in lending you the funds.

Conditions & legal representatives

Liquid will only release funds to a law society registered solicitor. If you do not have a solicitor, don’t worry as we can recommend one for you. The solicitor is required as there is some minor pre-completion legal work that must be conducted before completion.

Once you have received a lending decision, you are ready to complete your transaction. As we appoint our own solicitors, they will be holding funds on our behalf as soon as your loan is agreed. Your legal representative will have to give our solicitors 5 days notice to drawdown funds (although we are often able to release funds much quicker than 5 days if required).
